Author: Hey I need help! My husband has like 10, 000 relatives. I think it is both unnecessary & also quite a burden to have to buy gifts for so many people. However, we have been doing it for five years, 4 of which I have been a SAHM. We just had another baby & honestly we really can’t afford to buy gifts for all these people…..but we are going to his parents this Christmas & it would be really awkward to not have a gift for everybody. So I need some ideas, particularly for men’s gifts. Help is appreciated!

Chocolates. Baked cookies.
Usually I only buy gifts for their children.
Or a box of chocolate for the family maybe even a board game they might enjoy.
Some families pick names from a hat & you only get gifts for the family you pull out.
Can be pretty fun.
Im sure they understand your situation, so any gift should be appreciated. No matter how small or how big.

There are always items like leather wallets and travel bags, scarf sets, utility sets, leather slippers. And the wallets run no more than 15 max.
Why not try a little humor — and get them $10 in gasoline gift cards? or a few packs of NFL or MLB playing cards (and let them trade with each other)? Or, there’s always lottery scratch-off tickets, or ties…
Gift cards. For each family get a gift card to Blockbuster in cute bag with popcorn or candy.
I’ve seen nice shaving gift sets and men’s face care gift sets at Target, and they’ve been on sale for 9.99 lately! Also-on L.L. Bean’s website, they have a TON of gifts around 10 bucks, from water bottles to socks to candy. Hope this helps, and good luck!
For men, I highly recommend the book “Die Happy: 499 Things Every Guy’s Gotta Do While He Still Can.” Someone gave it to me for my bday and it’s hilarious and full of great ideas for any guy. It’s around $10.
Aftershave kits, cologne, tie, cigars, most electric shavers, or a gift card to a store or restaurant (you can never go wrong with those). Good Luck!
